There is no Anna Maria Island without Rod N Reel. As a child I came here to fish and we would go to the second level for some amazing food. There fresh catches and French fries are delicious! I honestly never go to the historic pier because the Rod N Reel has a more authentic feel.

Even though we are considered to be on Bean Point, if you walk towards the most Northern tip you’ll get some beautiful views. I always recommend a beautiful walk on the beach!

If you want to take a day trip and see some Florida marsh wildlife, this is it! You’ll see tons of gators, turtles, birds and more. They sell fried gator bites in the shop that are so good! A beautiful wood look out point and bridge for birdwatching is located in the park. They offer camping sites too, but I suggest calling first to confirm.
