Amavida Coffee Roasters is a locally owned coffee shop located in the Market Shops of Sandestin- just across the highway (hwy 98) from your stay. If walking, biking, or on golf cart, you can access the Market Shops via the underpass at the main gate of the resort. The Amavida store front in the Market Shops is quaint with a very good vibe- mostly outdoor seating. If you struggle finding a decent, strong cup of coffee on your trips, or are tired of waiting in Starbucks lines, this is a hidden gem worth checking out.

Black Bear Bread Co. is one of the newest locally owned businesses in the neighborhood, located just outside of the Eastern gate entrance on the bottom floor of the Hyatt. Don’t mistake it for just another coffee shop attached to a hotel, they’ve quickly become a local favorite- serving both lunch and breakfast from their seasonal cafe, along w the baked goods and coffee that gained them a good reputation in the first place.
