The Beach
Pensacola Beach is like no other because we have the whitest sand in the world. There is something and some place for everyone on Pensacola Beach. Family swimming with young children is located on the Sound Side by the Board Walk. Near by are the go carts and jet ski rentals. Surf and skim board on the Gulf Side. Paddle boards are available in several rental areas on the Sound and at Little Sabine across the street from Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Hotel. While you are there stop in at the Landshark outside bar and grill. Have a beer, swing in a hammock and enjoy life. All of the restaurants are good. The Grand Marlin is on the left as you come on the beach and reservations are required.

Sightseeing
Things to see and do in Pensacola are constantly changing but there are a few favorites that the locals enjoy.
The National Seashore is a vast expanse of preserved land fronting the Gulf of Mexico, Pensacola Sound and Pensacola Bay. Fort Pickens National Park is at the far west end of Santa Rosa Island, the Beach, and is accessible by car or boat. Overnight camp grounds on the sound side include RV and tent camping areas, a public bath house and a cooking pavilion. Reservations are required. Biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, bird watching and historic tours of the fort are popular at Ft. Pickens.
