A well-known legend says that an armored knight standing in the middle of a water reservoir on today's Main Square is the mythical French medieval knight Roland. He allegedly visited Bratislava to protect the sick, the weak, children and women from various dangers. This is gradually the name "Roland's" fountain, when in fact it is Maximilian's. The knight is said to always turn 180 degrees at the turn of the year and bow towards the house number 6, in which councilors once perished in defense of the city.

The Blue Church has been proud of Bratislava since 1908. On the walls you can still find blue mosaics where, for example, the legendary roses of St. Elizabeth. Let yourself be surprised inside the Blue Church.
