Opening from 7pm, take care in this neighbourhood as it's less well-lit. Worth getting to from the centre but don't take too many valuables with you to be on the safe side.
BREAKFAST | Alfonsina is closer to the airport than the centre but you can get a taxi here and we would highly recommend visiting! Breakfast is 200 pesos, which includes a dish, bread, coffee and juice.

This neighbourhood is the best for Dia de los muertos as locals flock to the local nearby cemetery and calendas charge down the colourful streets with marching bands following behind.
Cafes, restaurants and bars hide behind inconspicuous doorways and vibrant murals adorn the streets. It's one of Oaxaca's trendiest neighbourhoods and as it is also residential, it's very peaceful and safe at night.
