This beach is a favorite . There is parking across the street, a snack bar , bathrooms , a park and a wide sandy beach . Easy bike ride or 5 minute drive by car
I like this beach because there is a parking lot, a snack bar, and bathrooms . Plus when you get tired of swimming and sunshine you can go sit under the tree at the park and still hear the ocean .

You can access this beach by going through the tunnel at the end of Tremont . It’s the closest sandy beach to us.

If you Fly in this is where you will land . Unless you happen to be arriving by a smaller aircraft , there are multiple options in San Diego County.
It is closer than LAX, and traffic going south from LAX can waste a whole afternoon . So it’s sometimes worth paying a little more IMO , specially if your vacation time is a day or two .

Eating out is a must while in Oceanside . There is some great restaurants to check out . But cooking is fun too . Have some meals inside and save while enjoying the comforts of home ( it is a reason your staying at an Airbnb , so hang out in your pjs all day, your on vacation. )

Getting around
Most guest arrive by car. In the summer and prior to 2020 , guest would take the train from other California cities and get off at train station.

ELECTRIC BIKES
We now have a electric bike business up in Ventura harbor that rents bikes and boards . With at least a week notice we can have them available for you in Oceanside .THEY ARE AMAZING !! Honestly I didn’t get it until I rode one and I instantly wanted them available for our Airbnb guest in both location . I am so sure you will enjoy them that I will offer 100 percent refund if you don’t agree with me .
