Tangier is a wonderful experience on another continent. It is a safe place to visit.
We suggest taking a tour from Tarifa by fast ferry. These can be purchased on the day at the ticket office for around €60 per person, including return ferry fare, guided tour, meal and insurance. The 11 am ferry provides a great day out but don't forget to fill out your immigration cards and have your passport stamped on the Ferry.
The Port is about an hours drive from our villa and you can park in ferry terminal for a charge or for free down the road to the left side of the port entrance.
We recommend avoiding Friday as many shops are shut.
