Spindlers Beach is just up the road a little ways. Usually calm water great for swimming. One of the less busy beaches in the area, but is slowly being found.

Hirtles Beach is the most popular in our area. If it's hot get there early, parking can be a challenge. Lots of crashing waves, as well as a calm salt water pond. The access to the Gaff Point Hiking trail is at the far right of the beach

Oxner's Beach is my favorite beach. Usually not busy. If you walk out over the dune or out around the point there is a great sandy area and channel for swimming. At low tide on the point there is a large sandbar. Good loop walk for the dog as well.
