A very nice sandy beach in the park. This park is 8 minutes drive away from my cottage. You can park on the side of the road and walk in the park, no admission is needed as far as I know. The beach is on the right hand side. https://www.ontarioparks.com/park/foyproperty

Foy Provincial Park

Iconic nature attraction of Algonquin Park. Barron Canyon Trail is a 1.5 km loop trail that lead along the north rim of the spectacular, 100 m deep Barron Canyon and then returning to the parking lot. Please remember that this trail visits a very high, unfenced cliff top from which a fall would be fatal. You may also explore the Barron Canyon by canoe by accessing the canyon from the Brigham Lake Parking Lot and/or the Barron River Parking Lot.
The Barron Canyon Trail is 1 hour and 23 minutes drive away from our cottage.
