CB local Brewery with a 9 hole disk golf course attached while you enjoy a beer. Located right off the bike path that runs by the state park. Just hop on you bike from Lewis Drive and head under the snow's cut bridge to the bike path. 10min ride.

Best place to enjoy a drink on a pier and Tiki hut. I would recommend going mid-late afternoon. Bands are typically on Thursday and Sundays. If the pier is crowded plan to sit on the beach to hear the bands. You could drive to park in their lot (gets filled quick) or park in CB, and walk the beach (20 min walk on the beach). They also have great bar food.

If you are coffee fanatic I would highly recommend taking river road to downtown Wilmington (20-25min) and stopping into Luna Caffe. They roast all their coffee here in Wilmington and their blends are used at all sorts of local restaurants and breweries.

There is a trail along the intracoastal waterway leading to the boat ramp that you could potentially find a fishing spot. You could also drive back over the Snow's cut bridge and stay left to take river road. There is a small park at the base of the bridge where you could walk down to fish in various spots of the intracoastal waterway.
Snow's Cut Boating Access

Getting to the Beach from our AirBnb
Biking: You can bike 10-15min on Lewis drive and then cut behind the Dominoes/local fish market into the harbor where the fishing boats are to get to the beach. Or head out the other direction on Lewis and under the Snow's cut bridge to take the bike path along the state park and by Good Hops Brewing down to the beach (20min).
Car: Drive 5min to park in the public parking lots near the boardwalk ($5/hr) or $25 a day. If you want to be away from the boardwalk with less people drive up canal drive to Sandpiper Lane to the small parking lot (with showers).

Grocery Stores
The best part about our place is you can stay on the back roads to quickly get to the grocery stores. Take Lewis drive into the back entrance for Publix, or cut under the Snow's cut bridge and around Paradise Cove Condos to the back entrance of Food Lion.

Looking for something different than going to the beach?
Take River Road (20min) downtown to Wilmington to walk around on the riverwalk and shop/eat.
Go visit the USS NC Battleship for a tour. Drive into Wrightsville Beach to dine at Dock Side, BlueWater, etc. (reservations will be needed).
Take the ferry in fort fisher (with your car) over to South Port for the day.
Drive around and try a beer from one of our 16 breweries in town (https://wilmingtonaletrail.com).
Enjoy a walk in the Carolina Beach State Park.
Drive to Airlie Gardens (20-25min) and walk the grounds
