Also known as : Secret Beach. This unknown local beach is one of my favorites. It is public but because parking is very limited, it almost feels like it’s a private beach. Get there early because there are only 12 parking spots or park at salt ponds marina and walk down.

Grandview Beach is located within the Grandview Nature Preserve. The Beach is beautiful during the summer months and rarely ever crowded even during the warm months. Super cool coffee house located in the oldest firehouse in the US Army. Located on Ft. Monroe. They also have ice cream and some light food for lunch. Great place to stop when exploring the base or after hanging out on overlook beach.
