Sporty-spice activities

Try your hand at a game of golf or your feet for a game of footgolf. There's also lawn bowls, tennis and even a pool table. The Guildy Country Club is literally 5 minutes walk as it's just behind our house.

~ Paddleboard, kayak or canoe up the river. You can hire them just in front of our house, particularly on the weekends during peak season. ~ Throw in a line in the Moore River. There's plenty of bream and spots to fish too including a jetty just at the bottom of the hill. Take a blanket and watch the world go by on the beautifully manicured grass by the edge of the river. ~ Walk, drive, run or ride up Whitfield Street (continuation of Gordon Street), which turns into Silver Creek Road. There's a little path you can walk down with boogie or sand boards in hand, then paddle across the river to the Guilderton sand dunes which locals call the Desert and have as much fun as you can handle! It'll certainly wear out the adults, but the kids will sure sleep well too! Be sure to take fresh water and sunscreen.

Dogs are not welcome on the Guilderton foreshore

They're not even allowed on lead. The ranger is there often with his handy book of fines in his back pocket too. There are other places to take your four-legged friends though. They can be on lead in the local park, there's a dog beach just down the road and walking trails by the river too. Just do not take them to the grassed foreshore area...
