Take the approximately 35 min Ferry Ride to Southport from Ft. Fisher for lunch or an afternoon stroll. There are ferry's running most of the day to visit this quaint town south of the island. Just search "Ft. Fisher Ferry" and several links will pop up, we feel it's most clear through the NCDOT webpage.

There are ferry's running most of the day to visit this quaint town south of the island. Just search "Ft.
