An air-conditioned monorail system runs through the facility (since it's huge), so you can get around quickly and comfortably.

This European-style mansion offers a glimpse into what life was like in South Florida in the early 20th century. The house was built by businessman James Deering and now serves as a museum. Some personal objects are exhibited as well as Renaissance furniture, tapestries and works of art. The gardens, which occupy almost three hectares, were designed with the intention of resembling the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, in France. Deering, who was a conservationist, made this land a place to conserve the native tropical forests and inland mangroves. Therefore, you will be able to see a lot of palm trees, orchids of all kinds and Cuban limestone. The Vizcaya Museum is located on the shores of Biscayne Bay, in the beautiful neighborhood of Coconut Grove.

Miami Cubans are very proud of this neighborhood and it is located right next to downtown Miami. Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street) is surely the most famous area and a living testimony of the "American dream" that thousands of Cubans pursued. Many inhabitants of the neighborhood fled to Miami after Fidel Castro came to power in 1959. One of the main attractions is its gastronomy: there are plenty of restaurants where you can taste the most authentic and traditional Cuban food. You will see that here everyone speaks Spanish and the aesthetics (Mediterranean style), with rocking chairs on the porch, the air scented with tobacco, good coffee and the Latin music from the record stores give the place a special and indescribable atmosphere. Without a doubt, a place that you should not miss, and that contrasts with other parts of the city of Miami.
