Jacó Beach has a variety of beach breaks along the 2 mile stretch of beach. From beginner to advanced, Jacó has a wave for everyone.

Beach Breaks
Nice break, mostly locals and renters from the Surfer Factory shop up the street. Can get crowded on the weekends.

Surf Camps
Alex and the guys at Jacó Surf Camp at the far south end of Jacó provide the best surfing lessons for absolute beginners.
Intermediate to advanced surfers will find excellent surf lessons, board rentals & surf trips.
Showers, drinks, and food available at the Tiki Bar next door.
Drive south to Calle Madrigal, at the beach turn right and park as close as you can to the Tiki Bar.

It is not necessary to bring your own board unless you can't live without your magic board. There are many surf shops and surf camps (beach vendors) around Jacó with a variety of Shortboards, Longboards, Funboards, Fish, and Bodyboards.
