Food scene

The only store on the island is a community hub that offers food, groceries and a place to hang out. An outdoor firepit, a lawn for sitting or throwing a frisbee, live music and views of Anacortes and the Guemes Island ferry make this a must visit on the island.

Consejos para la ciudad

Qué debes empacar

Pack what you need!

There is only a single store on Guemes Island with a very limited selection of items - good for emergencies but not for regular shopping. Make sure to bring all your groceries and other items with you or stop in Anacortes to pick them up to save yourself multiple ferry trips back to the mainland.

Guemes Ferry Terminal

The road signage on the way into Anacortes directs you toward the Washington State Ferry Terminal. The Guemes Ferry sails out of a different location on the north side of Anacortes. Enter “Guemes Island Ferry Terminal” into your preferred navigation app and trust its directions.
