Ok let’s get to it. You are on holiday near one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK, Sandbanks Beach, so how do you get there.
Most of the year you can find parking in the various car parks along the peninsula but in the peak of summer it is difficult to find a free parking space which is one of the big advantages of choosing the Old Post Office. It is simple scenic walk down the bridle way running down the side of the house.
Walk to the end turn right and keep walking down the hill till you come out on Evening Hill, which is a beautiful setting for sunsets, and possibly taking a picnic or take out to see the views.
Cross the road and admire the views of Poole harbour and Windsurfers pay. After about 10 minutes the road will split with zebra crossing just before the fork. Walk down the left fork down Shore Road and you will see the Jazz Café on your left and you will then be on the beach.
