Neighbourhoods

A beautiful little village with access to the amazing National Trust Beach, and lots of beautiful walks. This village is small and in the summer it becomes clogged with people and cars. If possible, why not walk from the house instead? If you time the tides correctly, you can walk down to Jam Jar Kitchen for a coffee or pizza, and make it back before the tide is too high. Perfect! Or you can walk down to the Fern Pit Cafe and catch the little ferry across the Gannel at high tide

Supermarkets

Sainsburys is the local supermarket - a 10/15min walk from the house, plus there is plenty parking outside. There is a Spar just a 5min walk away with some essentials, plus Lidl, Aldi, and ASDA a 5mins drive away.

Consejos para la ciudad

Antes de que te vayas

Book restaurants in the summer

Newquay gets super busy in the summer, so if there is a particular restaurant you fancy make sure you book ahead. Heading into town without a reservation is not a good idea, especially at the weekend.

We recommend bringing a car to explore

We recommend bringing a car if you want to explore the area - there is so much to see and public transport is patchy! Taxis can be hard to come by and are quite expensive. Taxi companies change all the time, so just Google ‘Newquay Taxis’ if you do need one.
