Sightseeing
Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court WayIf you want to get out for a lovely walk then I suggest walking from Twickenham to Richmond along the river. This is something i’ve always enjoyed doing - some weekend mornings I walk (and sometimes even break into a small jog!) and then finish off in Richmond with tea and toast breakfast at Cote or if early evening I finish at the White Cross for something a bit stronger! (And then I bus it back!)

Riverside
50A Narrow StIf you want to get out for a lovely walk then I suggest walking from Twickenham to Richmond along the river. If you’re looking for a relaxing few hours or fancy a picnic amongst a beautfull backdrop then I recommend a trip to Kew Gardens.

If you’re staying here then I’m sure it goes without saying that London has so much to offer in the way of sightseeing and it’s an easy commute from the appartment either by a slower local train station or hop on the bus to Twickenham for the fast train. Buses and trains all take contactless now, so no need for an Oyster (unless you are a regular visitor to the area and then I would recommend getting an Oyster card)

Right on the doorstep! A perfect place to breath in the fresh air and enjoy the stunning scenary - Take a look at the Bushy Map included within my pictures to get the most out of the area (you will want a good pair of traininers as you can get carried away and walk for hours!)

Along with Bushy Park, one of the most famous of Royal parks to enjoy a lovely walk and view all of the deer. Try not to miss the Isabella Plantation!

Don’t miss walking along the river and enjoying a meal or a glass of something yummy! One of my personal favorites being Busaba Eathai for Thai or Bill’s or Cote for a leisurely breakfast or brunch.
