Westwood Lake is one of Nanaimo’s most popular places to swim and is also a fabulous place to go for a nice walk or run. This well maintained trail is very safe and populated.

A beautiful and very easy ocean front walk in N.Nanaimo. It also has the fairy walk which is so fun for young kids! Kids can bring a small toy to leave in one of the ferry homes and take a new-to-them toy in exchange.

A stunning forested trail the loops along the ocean. Here we’ve seen sea lions and whales in the past. Could be a bit too long of a walk for little kids but great for older children or adults.
