Quite possibly the #1 restaurant in Jaco. Great wine list and ever changing specials board. Try the coffee/cacao crusted filet mignon and tuna tartar tower. Only open for dinner and closed on Sunday.

My favorite local restaurant. Hugely popular and a lot like Rustico but less greasy. I like to go here for breakfast where they will prepare eggs any way you want with sides of gallo pinto, homemade tortillas and salad for a very affordable price.

The Bohio Roasters has the best cup of coffee in Jaco hands down. I'm a coffee snob so I really know my coffee. Amazing lattes and cappuccinos and if you have a sweet tooth their frappes are ridiculous. Try their Nutella frappe. Located right on the main strip.

Sightseeing
Highly recommended and mandatory while in the Central Pacific. This is a hotel about 15 north of Jaco where you can go to watch the sunset and get a drink. They built an amphitheater into the side of a 1,000 foot cliff that overlooks all of the central pacific all the way to the Nicoya Peninsula. You are likely to see the most breathtaking sunset of your life and it’s free to visit. A taxi will run about $18 each way. www.villacaletas.com

As you get to the top, there is a fork in the road where you will want to go to the left. Then follow the concrete walkway to a very unique look out point. I see toucans and scarlet macaws almost every time I walk or ride my mountain bike up here. Sometimes you'll also see monkeys and huge blue morphos butterflies.
