Very old-school amusement park. You can pay for individual rides, and free admission into the park. Roller skating! Bring a picnic and your dog, and afterwards eat lunch at Oaks Bottom and let your pup play in the water, or head a mile or two into the neighborhood of Sellwood for dinner or drinks.

One of my favorite Mexican places - a bit more upscale than your average taqueria, and great margaritas. Try the Cha taco if you eat beef. Seafood tacos are great too.
