Food truck owner, Eric, was actually an Airbnb guest in the Garden Room while they were house hunting when moving from AZ. His southwest inspired creations like the street artisan tacos and cemitas are some of the best in town. Paella from a food cart? In this case, yes. Heck yes. His Paella of the Week (POW) features rotating fresh and local produce like mussels from the region and organic/grassfed/heritage/local/etc meats from the best producers in town. He drummed up lots of popularity in AZ with his pop-up dinners but Portland gets to enjoy his talents now. He's also been on Food Network a couple of time. Stop by, grab a meal and beer, and tell Eric you're staying in his old room.

I love taking my niece and nephew here for breakfast. You order batter and toppings and make your pancakes on the griddle on your table. They even have a gluten free batter for me. The kids love it. The griddle is gar enough that they don't accidentally touch it. 3yo Sean is a bit wild so I thought keeping him from touching the griddle would be a big task, but it wasn't an issue after a quick explanation as to why he shouldn't touch.

Portland isn't as much of a dance club city as some others, but Holocene is a good, non-bridge and tunnel (as opposed to Portland's Chinatown dance clubs) place to dance to various genres. 90's Hip Hop some nights, Afro Caribbean others, and some nights its the preferred LGBTQ place to be. They really create an amazing ambiance at the Quiet Music Festival with rugs, pillows, blankets, and dim lit table lamps all over the floor to sit back and listen to live performance really chill music, from internationally renown singer songwriters to amazing experimental performances (non-electric). For a quick dip into the woods, Portlanders are super lucky to have Forest Park. Lots of lovely hikes year round in the 5,100 acres of woods, some old growth. Some bike trails too. Check out All Trails for recommendations. https://www.alltrails.com/parks/us/oregon/forest-park While Portland is safe as far as your physical self goes, leaving stuff in your car at a trailhead isn't a good idea. Trailhead theft isn't a sure thing, but car break ins happen there (never to me but can name a couple friends that had it happen).

The accessories are also female practical and in some cases female stylish (plenty for guys too, but there's more here for ladies than other shops and no one has to worry about asking questions and getting bike snob looks). Bikes for sale of course too. If you're up for it, you can even get a custom bike fitting done and a custom or semi-custom bike built for you.
