The best bit is that it is situated in the dry river bed of the old River Turia, which is now a traffic-free oasis to take a stroll or play with the kids. Museums in the science park are a bit pricey but good on rainy days.

This is a natural wetlands area which is popular with locals for walking, fishing and (in duck season) shooting. Very high reed beds divide lots of little lakes, all surrounded by the orange groves that make up this part of the coast.

Getting Around
Lots of car hire companies like Europcar, Avis, Goldcar, Sixt etc all based in the car park at the main airport terminal. Queues can get long after flights arrive so best be quick with those suitcases...

The nearest train station with direct "local" stopping services to Sagunto and Valencia, as well as heading north to Castellon. Trains leave every half an hour, are good value, clean and safe.
