Great pho! Open late (until 2 or 3am) and also has great cocktails and drink selections.

Directly across the street from the apartment, this is my near-daily choice for coffee! The baristas are friendly and welcoming and the coffee is great! The bagel cart next door is owned by the same guy and has a ton of creative and delicious breakfast bagel options!

HUGE farmers' market and so close to the apartment! Grab a coffee from Ole, a donut from Coco Donuts, and wander the market. Plenty of hot food options here too, and it's worth the wait in line to eat here!

Best late night happy hour in the city (or at least, my favorite)! Open until midnight with a great French-inspired bistro menu, amazing wine list, and fantastic cocktails. Try the Macaroni Gratin or the burger!

Best selection of retail wine in the city, from budget bottles to collector selections. Great local selection as well as imports, so there's something for every palate here! There's also a tasting counter/bar in the front of the shop where you can buy glasses of a wide selection of approachable local wines as well as nosh on some really tasty bites!

The streetcar (A/B and NS lines) runs through here and the Orange and Green MAX lines run North-South on 5th and 6th from here as well.
