From the top of the Santurio San Salvador you can see the whole island if you its a clear day. Great view of the south east of the island. And great for walks/hiking. Drive there, or if you ride a bike -just go! You can also eat in the restaurant of the monastery.

One of the most beautiful beaches of the Med. In July and August, get there early on the morning (7am) and enjoy it for yourself. Or do as the locals, hit the beach at 5pm when all the tourists leave. Tip: swim from Cala Mondrago over to the opposite beach of SÁrmador, its 20min return in a nice slow tempo.

This is one of mallorcas best Italian restaurants. The owner is Italian and a bit crazy. He tends to change personality every 5 minutes. However: Truly good food with an exotic owner. Make sure to reserve a table for outside or inside.

Cafe/bar Can Pere Antoni; The local water hole. Great family run bar, don´t be fooled by the ugly plastic chairs on the road (its actually on Ma-4016, on the corner of Cami Well dés Carritxo= opposite the church).
Pop in for breakfast or lunch or just a coffe or drink. Roughly 1km downhill from the house. Sometimes thay have tapas evenings on fridays. Ask Toni, the owner. Or Francesca, his daughter. This is as far away as you can get from a tourist trap.
