Incredible farm/sea to table food. Menu is limited and changes frequently based on what is in season. In our opinion, it's some of the best food on the island. Small too - so reservations are recommended but not always necessary.

This is both a great bar and an awesome lunch spot. And if you're looking for a spot to grab a good drink on the beach - this place can't be beat! You don't need anything more than a swimsuit, shirt, and sandals for the Tiki bar part. They serve food there too. It's built on an old pier that stops just into the surf, so you are elevated over the beach about 15 feet with beautiful breezes and a great view. There is a nicer, more formal restaurant with an expanded menu inside. Live music on Thursday during peak season!

It's great for a day drinking in the spring/fall when it's a little chilly and their 'backyard' is the perfect place to gather around and hang out. Good music. Great people. Incredible beer selection. In peak season, it's always a good time starting around sunset and going well into the evening. If you enjoy beer, you've got to experience the Fat Pelican!

Entertainment & Activities
Great for families and for grown ups too! Tons of fish and you will learn a lot about the NC Coastal environment. It's both educational and entertaining. You can't go wrong. If you haven't been before, you should definitely go. You probably won't need more than a morning or an afternoon, and when you're done - go for a stroll or a swim at Fort Fisher State Park's Beach. It's beautiful and nothing has been built on it.
