"How the Andalusian Horses dance" is a beautiful show. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (Thursdays are the best). The rest of the weekdays you can visit the museum and the stables. I recommend to go early so you can stroll around the gardens and have a look inside the french style palace.

Food Scene

Jerez is full of lovely and different places to eat, from Michelin Star restaurants to small family run businesses serving simple local food. My recommendations are: - Avoid those ones with boards showing photos of the food, these are mainly for tourists. - Although Paella is something Spanish, it is not typical from southern Spain!, if you see a photo of a Paella, asume this is frozen and taken out from a pack! so this is a no no zone in Jerez!
One of my favourite places for a glass of Sherry and Patatas Bravas!!

Big portions and big variety of food. It gets busy with locals, so you may struggle sometimes to get a table!

(not to be confused with Tabanco Cruz Vieja), this is a nice tapas bar 1 minute from the apartment near the monument of Lola Flores. This place has got very good tapas and very good prices. One of their specialities are their giant Spanish Tortilla but I like everything from here!

Very old fashioned “Tabanco” (where sherry can be purchased by the glass or direct from the barrel). Great to get yourself immersed in Flamenco, Sherry, simple tapas, and good atmosphere! (Free flamenco “shows” everyday at lunch time and evening time).

Very simple place where you should try the local dish “Ajo Campero” or “Ajo Caliente”. This is a very old traditional dish made with warm bread soaked in tomato and peppers. It tastes better than it sounds!
