Tryon is a 30 minute drive and a great town to visit. This restaurant has great food, is quiet, not as touristy, smaller parties, good for a celebration dinner, or a yummy lunch.

Entertainment & Activities
The Beach by the lake is so beautiful. You can stretch out on this sandy beach, go swimming in the refreshing lake water, all the while surrounded by these gentle old mountains.
You can also experience the lake by boat! At the marina, you can rent a pontoon boat, a canoe or kayak. Or if not so adventurous, you can take a guided tour of the lake in a pontoon boat. It's fun to learn the history and interesting details of the lake.
Not far from the marina is the Flowering Bridge. Take a short stroll over this closed bridge and the gardener in you will fall in love. This has been a volunteer effort by the LL citizens. Once the new bridge was completed, they made a garden out of the old one.
