Bar Harbor is 20 minutes away, Long Pond (1.3 miles) and Echo Lake (2.6 miles) are within a few minutes. Southwest Harbor is located on the "Quietside" of Acadia. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Our modern log cabin has stunning views of Frenchmen Bay in a very private, serene location. With 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms & one large loft) /2 baths it is the perfect spot for a family or two to enjoy. Whether you enjoy sipping coffee on the deck, sitting by the ocean, or exploring the tide pools by the shore, there are many areas to enjoy. In Nov 2021- the cabin had full bathroom renovations & all new decor. Our other property is Bar Harbor Cedar Chalet.

Our cabin is nestled in the woods bordering the Eagle Lake Road in Acadia and is less than 5 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. The hillside wooded setting has westerly sun exposure, perfect to relax and unwind after a day in the park. Enjoy dinner in the large kitchen or drive into town where you have a vast selection of fabulous restaurants and entertainment. Though you cannot see the road during high traffic times you may hear it.

Romantic Forest Cabin - private, near everything

This cozy cabin is nestled in the woods with tons of privacy, but located close to everything.
