The nearest confectionary with excellent, always fresh cakes. This is one of the few places I know that never changed interior since my childhood (late fifties, and sixties from the last century) and in this way it is a real authentic retro!

Do you want to try the time machine? Then visit this coffee shop that has a design takes you back to the Budapest of the seventies. The pastries are excellent, as well as cakes and pogácsa.

Old fashioned café and cake shop from the 1960's. Excellent "krémes" and "flódni". Their "pogácsa" is also superb :)

A very nice family run café which features excellent pastries and coffees. Stop in on the way for a walk by the Danube or the parliament.
