Great beach for families. And there are some small shops and restaurants in dt Fairport.

This is one of my favorite places...we have taken our kids here for over 20 years. Lake Erie is noted for having some of the most beautiful sunsets in the U.S. The harbor creates a beautiful and safe environment to enjoy Lake Erie within the breakwall. Lots of beach glass and easy access for those with mobility issues (or those with a lot of gear and children to carry to the sand!).

Fairport is staffed with life guards and handicap friendly. Canoeing is also available. Small entry fee is required to enter.
