Ribeira Quente has a very beautiful beach. Ribeira Quente is about 7 kms from the village of Furnas. Ribeira Quente beach is also designated by Fogo beach due to several underwater hydrothermal springs that make seawater warmer. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Azores.
