This place is unlike any other and so I had to add it to the list! You get to learn about the history of this city while seeing how people lived way back when and don't forget to take full advantage of the background and props!

Also known as Old City Park, as it was the ORIGINAL city park in Dallas. Located here in the Cedars neighborhood (which was, by the way, the first 'neighborhood' outside of downtown Dallas), it allows visitors to become immersed in the historical perspective of our city. Twenty-one buildings (including homes, railway depots, dentist office, bank, bar, mercantile, school house, band stand, pavilion and just about anything else one would have seen in Dallas 150 years ago. The sprawling lawns are also a great place for a picnic!

Amazing Piece of History Preserved Right By Downtown! This park will take you back in time ... visit a perfectly restored village of old 1920's homes, a railstation, old Salon, store, simply an amazing experience if you are into old homes and quaint experiences from a by-gone era.
