Always worth a visit if you've never been to Edinburgh - the icon of the capital!

These areas capture the quintessential essence of Edinburgh - the progression of the quaint,overcrowded tenements of the old town to the Georgian New Town, with its spacious classical buildings. The renovated Shore area of Leith with its seafood restaurants and pubs, and quaint Stockbridge with its Sunday market, which draws the crowds.

The National War Museum is housed in Edinburgh, and forms part of National Museums Scotland. It is located within Edinburgh Castle, and admission is included in the entry charge for the castle.
