Considered one of the UK's best beaches and known for some of the most expensive properties in the UK, Sandbanks is naturally beautiful and wide with miles of golden sand and blue flag status. Excellent facilities include a saltwater sauna, crazy golf, childrens play area and Sandbanks Beach cafe.

Popular with tourists and residents alike Sandbanks Peninsula, Poole boasts some of the best golden sandy beaches on the South coast. The main peninsula has Poole harbour to one side with the English channel on the other. This area can become very busy during peak season and at weekends. If visiting by car then you may need to consider an early start during peak times. Alternatively, you can elect to park in one of the Poole town multi storey car parks and use public transport to travel to the beach.

Lovely long stretch of sandy beach about 1hr 10 mins away. Popular in the summer and great for children and dog friendly. A good selection of cafes too.

Gorgeous sandy beach with lovely shallow sandy sea - perfect for kids. Just an hour and a quarter away but leave early to ensure you find space to park.
