This is the place described in the novel María, by Jorge Isaacs [1867], has become the most important tourist destination, localized just 24 miles from Cali. From its name comes the name "Territorio Paraiso", used to refer to the tourist area between Guacari, Ginebra, El Cerrito and Palmira. It is located in the ski area called "Paseo de la olla" where some tourist can also practice extreme sports like paragliding, mountain biking, horse riding and canoeing.

A beautifully maintained house and picturesque garden heaving with roses. Formerly owned by famous author Jorge Isaacs, whose love story book "Maria" has been turned into a movie. This place is clearly beloved by locals, and indeed many travel from more distant cities on coach tours. And the best part of it, is that we are 15 minutes away from this amazing House.

Esta hacienda es la recreación de el romanticismo en Sur América. Ya que en esta hacienda hace mucho tiempo ocurrió una gran historia de amor. De la cual se escribió el libro. "María'' de Jorge Isaacs. Con amplias zonas verdes, río, exuberante vegetación y amplios pasillos. Este lugar es perfecto para descubrir nuestro lado romántico. Tiene zona de comidas, tienda de recuerdos y te puedes vestir como en esa época y sacarte fotos. Queda muy cerca del Museo de la Caña de azúcar.
