One of the beautiful beaches near Vejer de la Frontera. Other beaches: El Palmar (surf spot!) and Zahora. A bit further you can admire the kitesurfers on the beaches just before Tarifa.
Beautiful spot with Levante, usually lighter than in Tarifa but it depends on the season and how strong the Levante is. You can also watch some nice live concerts in the many bars at the beach. The vibe is really nice in Caños!
Can get some nice waves. Some nice bars and restaurants close to the beach. This spot you are officially forbidden to kite in summer which is from 15.06. until 15.09.
There are some places that just can’t be found anywhere else in the world and Caños de Meca, in Barbate is one of them. This hamlet is located in the South of Andalucia, along the Cadiz coastline and became a focal point for the hippie and bohemian movement of the 1960s. Today, it remains a haven…
Beach. You should make the drive from the nearby town of Barbate to Los Caños de Meca along the coastal road A-2233. A lovely trip trough the pine woods with the road eventually winding down with a sudden spectacular view of Cape Trafalgar. Not to be missed.
