This museum gives a wonderful snapshot of the timber industry of the Olympic Peninsula and how it helped shape the towns in our area. It's a great stop when heading to the coast.

Our favorite historical and informative must see is the Forks Timber Museum at 1421 S Forks Ave located at the edge of town. Be sure to give yourself enough time to see all that is inside the main cabin with its pictures, tools and wonderful displays of how rugged and beautiful life was for the pioneers of that time. There is also a nature trail and a gift shop nearby. A lot of fun for kids as well as adults.

This is a cozy heritage museum devoted to the local logging industry.

Shows a lot of interesting information on this area when loggings and shingle mills were the jobs to be had.
