The Fort Fisher Ferry is such a unique experience. You drive your car onto a large boat and in a short 30-35 minutes you’ve reached the quaint little town of Southport. Once the ferry gets started, you can spend your ride outside, enjoying the beautiful scenery, or you can head up the cabin and enjoy your ride from above. Once you reach downtown Southport, you can explore the cute shops and restaurants for a fun filled day on the town.

Take to Ferry over to Southport and you can drive the back highway home to Wilmington. The ferry ride is beautiful! A great way to end the day after a visit to Kure beach. and or Fort Fisher/Fort Fisher aquarium.
