If you'd like a place to walk near the pond and river, Grandpa's Pond is a one of my favorites. There is a paved walking path around the entire park. The river is easily accessed if you park at Grandpa's pond, too. The pond itself has geese, ducks, turtles, and lots of little lizards all around it…

Large pond with fishing, turtles, ducks, and other wildlife. Paved walking trail around the entire pond. Children's playground, restrooms, picnic tables, some covered, and grassy areas.

Less than 2 miles away, hidden in a residential community, is this beautiful park and walking path with places to cook out, walk a dog, have a picnic, and fish in the pond. It is clean, safe, and serene. I go here to run a few miles around the pond. One of my favorite local places to relax and…

Awesome man-made lake with paved trail around it. Tons of ducks and geese to feed. Huge grassy area perfect for the dogs to play on and a playground for the kiddos. Right next to the Virgin River.

Point of Interest
“7 miles from the BnB is this charming ghost town with hollywood Credit! This short drive down a well-maintained dirt road brings you to a historical treasure. With no modern amenities you'll feel transported to the time when Mormon settlers and Native Paiutes lived here in the valley in the 1800's. The film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid had many classic scenes filmed here.”
