In the animated Rue du faubourg Saint Denis, a very nice bar with reasonable prices and good atmosphere.

Retro feel, cool-cat clientele, Formica tables, and original zinc bar. Besides copping attitude over a drink you can get a Jeannette burger for 14€ or a generous-sized portion of charcuterie for 8€

This bar could have been in NYC lower east side, but the people here are way better dressed.
