Located one block south of the Tarrymore, this museum is great for rainy days with young children.
Say no more...it's a Children's Museum with children's activities. It's nestled in the Historic residential area of downtown, so you can easily walk to the Riverwalk and find a bite to eat after all that activity!
We engage children and their families in joyful learning experiences using the power of play. We provide a safe, clean, and inviting environment where children find ample opportunity to explore. We offer hands-on interactive exhibits and weekly programs.

“One of my favorites! Kids and adults love this place. They have extensive miniature train systems, that are interactive. Press buttons to watch cars go through driveways, start trains, even launch a miniature hot-air balloon! They have rooms of them set up like many local SE NC towns. Go into a couple old trains and explore the history of trains.”
