If you're planning on traveling up island Cathedral Grove is a must see. Set aside at least an hour to walk through these massive, ancient trees.

beautiful hiking trails through dense trees some are 800 yrs old. this is about a 1-1.5 hr drive North towards Port Alberni/Tofino. Great day trip. Take a picnic wit you
