Wanna place to meditate or reflect? Walk or drive to the Baha’i Temple and walk around their beautiful garden. Or step inside and feel the peace and tranquillity of the temple. It is just across the street from Gillson Park.

Live Choir Music: 12:30 p.m. on the first three Sundays of every month. "Whatever your faith background or system of belief, you are welcome to use this space for personal prayer, reflection and meditation. Baha’i principles are communicated throughout the design. For example, to illustrate the Baha’i belief in the unity of religion, Bourgeois (French Canadian architect who designed it) brought together elements of religious architecture from around the world. The Temple’s arabesque panels embrace natural light during the day and illuminate from within at night, creating a “Temple of Light and Unity.”

The Baha'i House of Worship for the North American Continent, located in Wilmette, IL, is one of only eight continental Baha'i Temples in the world. It is the oldest of the Baha'i Temples and is open to people of all races, cultures, nationalities and religions.
