Excellent place with awesome views. I think its the best place in San Diego for views. National Parks pass is free to enter $10 per vehicle
Cabrillo National Monument is at the southern tip of the Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego, California, United States. It commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. Entry is free with National Parks Annual Pass.
This is a great way to see a wonderful historic national monument and the old Point Loma lighthouse. The scenery is absolutely stunning but the hills can be a little challenging for people who have a hard time walking. There is a charge to get in.
A must go if you stay in our studio. Great views of San Diego. You wont regret it. Bring some comfortable clothes if you want to hike a couple of hilly miles.

“The San Diego Zoo is considered one of the best, with outdoor living for the animals, and close up front viewing. So, paint your face for some fun, and go meet the Panda and Koala Bears, along with the elephants and monkeys are the best. ”

“Lots of good hiking with breathtaking views from cliffs over Del Mar/La Jolla. May not allow dogs in certain areas. Check State Parks site for rules. ”

“A great spot for sunset photos. We suggest parking on the south end and walking as far as you feel comfortable and walk back. it can get a little busy but parking is usually better on the south end.”
