One of my all-time favorite restaurants in the French quarter. You can't go wrong here. I could order everything off the menu!! $$$

Irenes is the perfect blend of local and Italian. It has been around forever and it is a wonderful experience.

Famous for their duck St. Philip which is roasted crispy and glazed with raspberry demi-glace, this Italian restaurant is a favorite amongst the locals. The favorites do not stop at dinner, try the Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle or the Bananas Foster bread pudding for dessert. No reservations.

Irene has been cooking for locals for 25 years. She recently moved into a more expansive location, nearer to Canal St., and caters to visitors as well. We celebrated a birthday there recently, and start to finish was lovely.

“I love this restaurant. It's quirky, romantic, and adorned with hundreds of hand-drawn Mona Lisa's from its many patrons. The pizza is delicious and my favorite pasta is the Seafood Pasta. If there's a wait, just go to the "Golden Lantern" bar across the street and they will text you when your table is ready. $”

“ One of the most fun bars. Locals and tourist go. It’s one of the oldest in the quarter at the very end of Bourbon street. The purple drink is surprisingly good and is sure to help you catch a buzz and sing along to the piano player!”
