This ferry service is for vehicles as well as walk-on passengers. It operates from a terminal on the south side of Ross Creek - opposite the regular passenger ferry - and does NOT have a bus or shuttle service from the airport. It is moderately expensive to bring your car to the island on the vehicular ferry, but the COST INCLUDES up to 5 PASSENGERS. It costs about the same for walk-on passengers as the Sealink ferry, but is less convenient to get to, takes longer and runs less often. This ferry service runs from early morning to early evening ONLY. The trip takes about 45 minutes. There is a parking lot, if you wish to leave your vehicle (or trailer) on the mainland while visiting the island. This is a good idea if you are travelling with a large camper van or trailer.
