Boat rentals and tours! I grew up with Bobo (he knew me as Becky and he goes by Robert now, haha) here in Southport and he has added a wonderful service to our downtown. He has several tours that go out during the day that can be very informative and a great way to see the area from the water! He also has sunset cruises that he takes out. Please check directly with them for up to date schedules. The dock is just to the left of Fishy Fishy Restaurant.

Southport Water Tours offers Sightseeing Cruises and Sunset Cruises along the North Carolina Coast. The Sightseeing Cruise is a 1-hour boat ride, starting around lunchtime. Cruise toward Bald Head Island, Ft Caswell, and Battery Island. You can usually see tons of birds, big ships, and even the occasional dolphin if you’re lucky! The Sunset Cruise is a fun and relaxing 1 hr boat ride in the evening. Our beaches face the ocean on the south side so most of the year we can see the sunset over the water when conditions are right. The sunset is also the best time to see all the birds flying back to their nests after a long day of hunting fish and dolphins getting their last meal before dark. This is the most popular trip so make sure to book early!!!
