Southern ferry off and onto Whidbey Island. On weekends allow for long lines. About a 20 minute crossing. Whales are often spotted.

The Ferry Boat service to Whidbey Island. It is a nice day trip to drive around the Island, stopping to see Deception Pass Park, walk the bridge, and some of the WW II Forts on the Island are pretty cool. Coopville has good seafood right at the dock, restaurants, antique shops, bakeries, and seafood restaurants. Clams and mussels are local.

This ferry runs every half hour and is the best way to arrive from the Seattle area.
